origami workshops for paper and body, participants ages 4-100
What is it?
During Ari-gami en español sessions we learn Spanish verbs & nouns while practicing basic origami skills with our papers and bodies. Prepare to move and stretch, fold and create new creatures and toys. This class is for paper art lovers and Spanish language learners.
All classes will begin with a Spanish vocabulary review of the day, followed by paper-body movement warm up/work out designed to support body-mind origanization, modulation of force and physical-emotional expression. These movement games relate to origami creation of the day.
Interaction among student participants supports the practice of empathy, collaboration and movement confidence. This activities are ideal for virtual playdates.

Ari-gami Treasures Holiday Workshop
December 23rd, 1-2pm
Join us to learn how to make a holiday ornament for your home. Bring recycled paper from any event of 2020, to fold this memory into a beautiful home decoration. We will also fold and unfold our bodies to parrandas puertorriqueñas.
If you have bought any of our Ari-gami Treasures from our SHOP, you will be invited to join the workshop for free.

Thank you for those who joined our past sessions.
Winter classes are by request. Claim your 4 week class series, bring some friends you want to interact with across screens. This could be perfect for home schooling groups, or for breaks from online school learning.
Sessions are normally 1 hour long- (we are flexible to do them shorter if needed) we are available for teaching Thursdays, Saturday and Sunday. Let us know if you are interested and we will fold with you. If you don’t have a group to bring, we can help build it.
Cost
$35-$55 per session shared among the families that log on (suggested sliding scale), no one turned away for lack of funds, let us know what you can afford.
